Basketball (K-3rd)

This popular program focuses on the fundamentals of basketball through skill-building drills and games. Basics of basketball will be introduced to those new to basketball while those with experience will expand their knowledge. We will play small sided games along with fun skill development games. It's a great way to improve your basketball skills, get some exercise, learn about teamwork and play a lot of basketball!

Glow in the Dark Art with Kidcreate (K-6th)

These projects will ROCK your child’s world long after the lights go out at night. You guessed it, all the project we create in this camp will glow-in-the-dark! How cool is that?!?!?! We will be working with a variety of different art supplies including clay, paint and other luminescent materials to create masterpieces your child will be ready to show off in the dark!

Minecraft Creative Adventures (K-2nd)

Minecraft: Creative Adventures is a course designed to help children tap into their creativity and problem-solving skills through the popular video game, Minecraft. In this course, children will have the opportunity to explore the vast and customizable world of Minecraft, using their imaginations to build and design their own structures, landscapes, and more. Along the way, they'll also have the chance to collaborate with their classmates and share ideas as they work together to bring their creative projects to life. By working together and sharing their thoughts and ideas, children will learn about the value of collaboration and the power of teamwork. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and grow while having fun in the process!

ACT Up! Movie Musicals (2nd-6th)

In this Moonlit Wings class, kids perform scenes and music selections inspired by Broadway and Hollywood hits like Wicked, Aladdin, Hamilton, Frozen and more. Young performers also enjoy improvisation games, character creation, and a talent show. Parents are invited to a mini-performance during the final class. Plus, weekly surprises and new songs and scenes each season for an ongoing journey of fun!

Flag Football (2nd-6th)

Come out and enjoy fun-filled non-contact flag football. Improve your football skills such as passing, running, catching, punting and kicking. Emphasis will include skill development, team work, and sportsmanship by playing intramural style flag football and related games. Small sided games will be played as needed to ensure maximum participation by each child.

Chess (K-6th)

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Scratch Coding (4th-6th)

Welcome to our Scratch coding course! In this course, we will introduce you to the exciting world of computer programming using Scratch, a visual programming language developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Scratch makes it easy for anyone to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations. With Scratch, children can bring their ideas to life by using blocks to specify the actions that their program should take. They will start by learning how to use loops to repeat actions, control structures to make decisions, and variables to store and manipulate data. children will also learn how to use operators to perform calculations and how to use the pen tool to draw and create animations. By the end of this course, children will have the skills to create their own interactive programs in Scratch and be well on their way to becoming coding pros.

Sports & Games (K-3rd)

Come join the fun and learn the fundamentals of team sports including soccer, basketball, flag football, team handball, kickball, hockey, and volleyball. In addition to playing the sports listed, we will play various games such as scramble, friendship tag, pin dodge, battleship, Star wars, steal the bacon, monster ball, capture the flag, sharks and minNows, catch-up, mat ball and more. Children can release some energy, get some exercise, learn new sports and games, and socialize with other children. Values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, sharing, and consideration of others will be stressed.

Secret Agent Lab (K-2nd)

Ever wanted to be a detective?  Do you think you have what it takes to discover who-done-it?  If so, this class is for you!  From secret communications

and detective crime science, like forensics, to the inner workings of our cells and cool chemistry, this class is sure to make you go hmmm! Each class, we sleuth out the answers to every day mysteries! We give out take-home experiments with every class so that you can have fun with your parents and show them what you learned!

Young Musketeers Fencing & Robin Hoods Archery (2nd-6th)

Young Musketeers introduces kids (beginners & returning) to fencing!

These one-hour classes focus on:

• Essential skills: Footwork, bladework, strategy, and fencing rules.

• Fun drills & games: Learn fencing basics in a fun, engaging way.

• Coordination & fitness: Build speed, endurance, and critical thinking.

• All in a safe environment with age-appropriate equipment.

Young Robin Hoods (Archery): Hit the Target Like a Hero!
